Good simple system to book a car. Only issue was with collecting the car there seemed to be confusion over which car was ready and what details were needed from me but that is more a problem with the rental company.

feedback on the rental companies is really needed. the current feedback star is not informative and transparency of issues - so not helpful. My transfer 1) car was not ready on pickup. received car 946am and booked 9am 2) car had damage that was not recorded so i had to drive back (chip on windscreen) 3) the handling of the preexisting damage (acknowledgement and attempting to get an updated contract) was absolutely terrible. still I do not have that. Though, I have now received my deposit back. -- my experience shows how disorganised queenstown europacar is -- I was 4th in queue and we all impacted. Both transfercar customers and paying customers.

On the ad, it was mentioned that there will be free fuel tank and i can return the vehicle empty but i was still charged for a tank of fuel by Europcar for $4 a litre.

Great comms, easy pickup & drop off, only small issue was the rental company having no record of the ferry deal for the vehicle but easily solved. Will definitely hire again.
