Monitor response from rental car agencies- note that my request from Queenstown expired dye to no response. Difficult to make plans when you're waiting for someone to acceot your offer - you cant make alternative plans in case they accept your offer and you cant back out then.

Recently I selected a car that was advertised for pick up at Queenstown Airport. After the relocation was accepted, I found the car was actually a 5-10min drive away on the other side of the airport, requiring paying for a taxi. If the vendor wants to advertise being AT THE AIRPORT, then I would expect this is within a 5min walk. Otherwise, in this case they should have advertised being in Frankton, or advise a taxi will be required.

Website could be improved. For example allowing to find vehicles going from south island to north and vice versa. More filters and better ways to set up notifications/ delete notifications will also be useful. Thanks

I took a Budget car to Picton and an Apex car back a few days later. I wasn't expected to refuel the Budget car but l was expected to return the Apex car full. I understand that Apex is a down market outfit that belongs to Budget and gets more mileage out of exBudget cars so l had expected 'the rules' to be the same. Had l been aware that l would be expected to return the car full l wouldn't have cashed in my bus ticket. I have no doubt that this condition was mentioned in the small print but l believe this fact should've been made clearer before l committed myself.

It is really unsettling to apply for a car and not hear back for a couple of days and not know how to query what is happening. This recently happened twice. I am not sure what the solution is.
