Transfercar is great, so was Jucy, Lucky Rentals could improve. Had insurance and still had to pay for a new tyre myself after one of them got a nail in it from the highway and wasn't reparable... Called the call centre and she said I should change it myself and use the spare tyre (which was not a proper spare tyre according to two mechanics). In their FAQ it says tyres are covered...

When return car Can staff please check on the system first I have been told by staff the fuel was not full. I told them I dont have to refill and it shown on the deal I have got 1 free ful tank of fuel.

Not really. I suspect the time it takes for approval is the responsibility of the hire company, so out of your control. In any case it was very quick for me.

Totally outside your control, of course, but sometimes there just isn't a car when I need one! People are amazed that I have a lovely car to drive free , and I recommend transfercar all the time. However, the insurance rates your companies charge are very very high, perhaps higher than for the customers paying full price. It's possible that transfercar drivers are less risky as they are more likely to be locals who know the road and conditions.

Maybe just having clearer FAQs on if when bonds will be released etc. Also having an option to tick when the driver has dropped off the car.

I had to wait over an hour to collect my car in a cold wind in Brisbane if I got it a bit quicker I wouldn't have any complaints.
