You could make it much more clear that the hire is not based upon 24 hrs but is on a daily basis. I had 3 days free and then paid for an extra day. 27 to 30 January is 3 days and having paid for an extra day I expected to return on 31 January. I made forward arrangements on that reasonable basis. I'm a frequent vehicle hirer and have never come across such a system before. I found that aspect of my experience very, very annoying. No customer should have to face such a significant challenge to their expectation. And so what your policy means should be made much clearer or you should change policy and rent on a 24 hour basis. Apart from that all was good.

Tighten rules around the vehicle booked and actually allocated. Booked a large people mover and received a small car. I know it's still a free car but travel plans had to be changed

Yes I had to cancel a trip due to the floods in Auckland and I could not leave. It was a regional emergency. I was charged $50. What a rip off!!!
