Only thing that caught me out was the transfer info sheet showed was free fuel but this was not the case, needed to pay for fuel.

Communication I received regarding finding an alternate transport and still being processed was confusing. Do I find alternate transport if I do do I get penalties if you then day I can have car????

Stop the fact you can't book 2 cars on the same day . I dropped one in Melbourne and wanted to pick up one in Perth . I had to create a second profile .

On my last relocation I couldn't book earlier than a 9am pick-up in Queenstown. Budget Rental Cars, the firm I did the relocation for, opened at 8am. I landed at 8.15am, so it would have been great to be able to book an earlier pick-up e.g. 8.30am. It just saves having to wait around in the airport.

It’s not transfercar, your service is great. It’s more the rental car companies. They demand really high bonds, demand credit cards (which a lot of people, including us don’t have), try to sell you really expensive insurances and add ons. It’s just not in the spirit of relocating and goes against the idea of cheap/free car hiring. They need to realise that relocators are not wealthy holiday makers and are working on a you do us a favour, we do you a favour type basis. Most live in the country we are relocating in and already have car insurance -work with us a bit more, don’t make us pay a fortune for something we don’t really need.
