I did have one issue but Transfer Car have since been in contact to fix it. Good service. Budget/Avis were super helpful and was great to get to Auckland with a free tank of gas and no stress.

Invoice number. 349770934 I transferred a car from budget wellington to auckland via transfer a car 1. I have been charged a total of 88.87 nzd. 2. The customer care agent said i drove excess above 900km. Which is totally wrong. I did exactly 756 km and there was still petrol left. I used only 1 day instead of 2 days. I had to go long way as desert road was closed how ever i have done only 756 km. I have taken photo before and after journey. Which i have included. Also totally unacceptable to charge my credit card with out telling me and sending me an invoice for only 59.97 3. When i first took car, it showed engine sign and the guy in wellington said it showed faulty message and changed things on the car and gave me the same car. 4. I have got videos of before and after and photos of mileage before and after. Also to mention there was still petrol left. Also please reply to this email, as i didnt receive your previous email. As per transfer a car, i am allowed 2 days for 2 dollars and upto 900 km.

I do think it would be great if there was a possibility of a refund for 24 or 48 hours after acceptance. I booked a camper one way because I saw there was a vehicle available for the returning trip for the correct dates. I applied for both. One was accepted, the other vehicle was withdrawn - with nothing else available. Hire companies can take up to 24 hours to respond and can withdraw a vehicle and drivers are left hanging. (I think) drivers can cancel, but will be charged - I don't think I have ever cancelled, but was thinking I would have to, and lose my TransferCar fee plus my $50 deposit with Britz.
