Well to be fair it is not your fault but the company using your service had a rep very upset with the service because he was not getting any money for helping with the transfer. It was the man at the Invercargill office. Said that Queenstown was benefiting but not him. It was with rent a dent.

Only if there is a way to specify if it’s a manual or automatic. Understandable if that’s not possible, and thankfully ours was automatic and regardless, my husband can drive manual (albeit he’s never done so from the right side of the car), but I could imagine someone else getting in that situation and then finding out they have a car they are unable to drive and end up having to rent last minute. Aside from that, everything went smoothly and quickly, from pick up to drop off.
