Ensure rental companies have the same info that you have on the website. We had to remind them about the free tank of fuel.

I recently used Transfercar to arrange a rental for a short trip, and while the overall experience was satisfactory, I am disappointed with the misleading information regarding the fuel policy.

1 day before the trip I got an SMS about the cancellation of my booking. It’s so unpredictable, I planed according to the transfercar and I have to reschedule all my trip… There wasn’t any help at all :(

Hello. Everithing went smoothely, thank you for the possibility to relocate the car.

Being able to add a note to a vehicle request, such that might give the operator trying to relocate a vehicle additional options - ie consideration for a shorter (or longer trip), or flexibility in dates.

It was nicer when companies where offering a full fuel tank

There was no problem with the car. Everything was fine. We managed to go to the places we need to go. The only problem we had was the staff when we get the car told us to full tank the car before returning it, though it was stated in the confirmation email that we have a free one tank fuel. And though we let her see the email, she told us too not mind it cause it is not true. But after we return the car with a full tank we again confirm if there was a free fuel, then the other lady told us there was actually a free fuel and there was no need to full tank the car before returning. And unfortunately we cannot have refund.

Just need to send confirmation of the actual deal from transfer car as it was different when I turned up for the car. Transfer car said two free days but had to get the car from chc to nelson in 24 hours according to the car rental contract
