Quite often offers are not confirmed and yet the supposed available vehicle stays shown on Transfercar’s website. That damages Transfercar’s credibility.

I found that Christchurch to Auckland in essentially 2 days was quite demanding driving. Not recommended without a second driver. I thought it unfair that the car should be filled with petrol before handling it back, the transfer driver is carrying too much of the cost, with the ferry fare as well it's much more than flying. Drivers are carrying out a service for rental companies after all. The only upside is seeing more of the country.
