They charged me for fuel even though fuel was included, when I enquired they said the fuel was not included, after I proved to them it was, it took many days before I received my refund

sometimes the details of insurance costs to reduce the excess do not get enough details. Eg for expensive vehicles you cannot reduce the excess completely.

Be upfront about how many days are included in the transfer. In our case it was advertised as 3 days but the pickup and dropoff days are included in that. Plus there is a limitation about when it can be dropped off so it's really only 2 days. Not enough time

I had a great car (although the window washer system was broken - I think it had a leak). The staff at the return counter didn't know that I had a free tank of fuel - I had to show the Transfercar confirmation email. It would be great if the free inclusions could always be communicated to the counter staff - there are many occasions where staff are unaware of the free tank of fuel, for example.
