I couldn't get the confirmation txt to work, turned out I had somehow mistakenly turned off my phone's notifications for the txt app. all good now.

Hello I have transferred a fair amount of vehicles over a 6 year period so i am acutely aware of how the system works, however their are some rental car companies that hold a $250 bond which is not outlined on Transfercar website, this is one of the reason i would not strongly recommend this services to others as it is a ambush upon uplifting vehicle. Nothing really was happy with the car, taupo airport is very small so found it hard to find the key drop box but the lady at the small cafe managed to point it out for us .

It used to be ferry for car included. It's a bit sad you don't offer that anymore. Paying nearly 300 for ferry is like renting the car

When I picked up the car - the braking was a little rattly on pressing down the brake - this slowly disappeared through the drive.
