The descriptions on the website aren't always the same as that provided by the Supplier ... eg I booked car from Palmerston North but collections was actually from Palmerston North Airport which required a further $20 taxi to get there on time.

Give more clarity about excess reduction options. Give more information on what happens if a rental is disrupted by natural disasters, our trips were impacted by heat waves and bushfires.

The pick up staff at NZ rent a car had no idea what was going on. Tried to tell us we hadn't already paid, insisted it needed to be returned with a full tank of petrol ('a free tank means it comes full, but you've got to return it full too').
