I took a relocate one day car n was told its $1 day with full tank gas n 900 free kms. I also took a 25 insurance for the day. Returned the car on same evening n perfect condition n got charged 3800 without any notification on what the charges were for. Made several calls, no one was able to help. Account was overdrawn n today is 3rd day still

I had a couple of issues with the vendor. 1) the booking on EuropCar sheet didn’t include a free tank of gas so I had to find Transfercars booking to show this was included. 2) I had 900km in which to get the vehicle to Auckland. Before I set off the odometer was 1100km up. What I mean is: The paperwork said kms out 97xx. But what the odometer actually read was 108xx. Had I not caught that, I would have been charged $200+ in excess km fees.

It would be great to know the type of car transferring earlier as they tried to give us a suzuki swift which would have been roo small for us all and luggage. Lucky they had another one
