Car provided by Thrifty did not have the option of having chains which seemed negligent given the journey rented for was over the Lindis Pass in winter

I asked when I picked up the car in chch where to drop it off in Queenstown... I was told just go to the rental car area at the airport but this was incorrect as the drop off pint was behind the airport some way from the rental car area. This could have been pointed out better I thought.
