The car we were given had a bald tire and the wheel alignment was out. However we didn’t notice untill the afternoon of the day we picked the car up and we were already 3 hours into our drive. I’ve still given a high rating because we didn’t contact Scottie’s. I’m sure they would have been happy to rectify if given the chance. Other then that though the process was quick and easy. I would recommend this service to friends and family.

Why do transfercar use miles in NZ? Why are transfercar distances now listed as miles when the estimated routes are km distances not miles? Quite misleading we are not in USA.

The website could be a bit more informative, in terms of listings, clearer menus, etc. also when I got the information confirming my booking, the hire car company’s phone number was listed as “000” which obviously wasn’t right!!
