I collected a car from AeroDrive at Tweed Heads for a transfer to Sydney. I cannot praise or recommend them enough! The service was professional and more than accommodating.

Dont advertise insurance as included if the driver has to pay upfront for the first $2000 of cover. Dont advise that the rental company will confirm the reservation, when confirmation is in fact sent via Transfercar. Should indicate if pickup is not at the airport as described but in a location that is some distance away (although pickup and dropoff is provided the time taken affects appointment deadlines). Need to require rental company to provide at least some info in the glovebox e.g. map, manual, instructions on what to do in case of mechanical breakdown. Rental company should provide instructions on how to get to their depot if it is not at the airport esp. if there are motorways with no nearby exit to the depot.

Some annoying aspects on how the website works: - the initial clickable NZ map misses off locations and isn't helpful in that you can only click on a single city (the start - not the destination also). - gave up trying to work out what the different coloured triangles meant when clicking on the date select calendar, a key would be nice. - Cancellation policy is hard to locate, not in the small print, not in the booking FAQ. Otherwise, handy service, win for all parties. Thanks!
