The only issue was - as we were looking to re-locate from Chch to Auck obviously the is a ferry crossing which your web site says the relevant car hirage Co pays for the car/vehicle and we pay the cost of the drivers and passengers. This is quite reasonable BUT when we picked up the car (Lia Sorento) we had to then pay for the car costs across the ferry which is contrary to what your web site says and in retrospect could be a game changer if cheap flight was an option... Either update the info on your web site or take up the issue with the car hire co as I would expect in the case of a re-location - the costs of their vehicle across the Cook Straight should be their cost. Otherwise the trip and process was great.

A bit of time spent by the 'agent' in helping me understand how to drive it (the 'agent' in Mangere). The Whanganui agent was exemplary. Loved the car once I DID work out the starting of it. Very much appreciated the opportunity to drive it - AND ... NZ is a beautiful country to drive in.
