Its very difficult to find some of the rental car operators locations in Queenstown. The office was unmanned, no key drop, poor signage and when you do find someone no one knows about the arrangement.Currently the drop off for Hitch rentals is very difficult to find even for a long time local who knows

I have a current query with the rental company about the ambiguity of the car being paid for on the ferry and not my person - you can't get a car ticket without a person, so if it says the car is paid for I assumed a person comes with that. I'm waiting to hear back from the rental company as to what they say...
