Be able to drop the car off sooner than 24 hours, I didn't need the car once at the destination but had to be responsible for it over night :)

When planning this trip, we thought we would have enough time to see some sights along the way before returning the car. When all was said and done, we hardly got to see anything along the way. Just were driving the whole time.

Ensure that staff apply the conditions as per the email confirmation. We were charged $1000 instead of a $2500 bond which increased the excess cost. Luckily we didn't have an accident.
