For my transfercar from adventure rental in Wanaka I had to bond 1500 NZD in my Credit Card (actually the same transaction as i had paid IT). I returned the car on the 23rd and until today, 26th the bond is not returned in my card!

Maybe provide a check list to the patron before leaving with the car to check windscreen, panels, tires, hubcaps, bumpers and anything else that they may not think about checking the condition of before departing.
