I think you could improve by not charging a mandatory fee for cancellations. I would like to see a 2 hour period after acceptance where there would be no fee charged. This would give me time to confirm transport in the other direction eg flights. If you would be able to do that it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The wait times to pick up and return the vehicle was very slow. Everything else was sweet.

The only issue we had was we stopped at Rotorua Z to fill up and in front of other customers the service station worker said that we ( the registration number) had come up as having done a runner with petrol without paying. This was the first time we had stopped to fill up as we got the car with a full tank of gas. It was pretty embarrassing. But I'm not sure that there is anything you could have done about that. We explained the situation and they said it did come up as a rental.

Better information about the vehicle and the insurance coverage. I did a relocation through transfercar and the confirmation I received said the vehicle was a hatchback or similar but it was actually a cargo van. It was fine but it would have been better to know more clearly in advance what the vehicle would be. Also when picking the vehicle up in Wellington the information about insurance coverage was a bit scant - only a question about whether I wanted to reduce the excess and no explanation of the insurance cover. However, vehicle was great - in v good condition and easy to drive and pick up and drop off were very simple - thank you!

A default setting regarding inclusions / exclusions especially ferry crossings paid or not and timings... Even though these things are driver responsibilities, as this may not be the only thing we are doing in our lives.. Being humans we can double book or forget without a gentle reminder :)
