Great experience but Scotties Rentals in Christchurch had no record of my reservation - the poor girl in the office was not told so was scrambling to find a record, but luckily there was an SUV there, and I had insisted on them emailing me to confirm it was actually happening! I had to Uber to their office as told by one of the owners on the phone, but when I got there the girl said ‘if I’d known, I’d have come to pick you up...’ Perhaps insist in future that the rental company give a confirmed reliable contact and confirmation of vehicle with registration? Otherwise, nice experience through Transfercar.

Transfer Car should have a subscription service whereas people are informed of available relocations on a daily or weekly basis. Also service could be extended to International relocations.

A “day” should be a 24 hour period, not a calendar day. My 4 day rental should have been Wed 3pm to Sun 3pm, instead of requiring a Saturday return.
