We would like to know more about what company is renting the car and how old it is likely to be before we apply. We found the process worked well but we were allocated an economy car which turned out to be an older and not so reliable vehicle. We spent a number of hours on our trip waiting to have the car attended to for electrical faults. This was very frustrating. We also felt we were treated like second class citizens because we were Transfer a Car clients. That is we don't think we got the same level of service when the car had mechanical/electrical issues as we would have if it had been a straight forward rental.This seemed unreasonable.

Let people know that they'll get international fees on their payment. I've relocated a car in nz. Dealt with the desk in nz. Offered my nz debit card. And got a French tax invoice with a bill on my parents address while I gave to the lady my nz address. So, on the top of the insurance purchase I've got gst + fees = $20 more than expected and said.
