I had quite a frustrating hour with your manager at your Darwin office. According to my confirmation email my bond for the car was $500 though he didn't care about what information I had received and told me you can pay $2000 or you can cancel your booking needless to say this was terrible service. I ended up calling through to the Tasmanian office to escalate and resolve while the Darwin manager resided in the back office and did not come out to apologise once the matter had been resolved. Happy to have someone call me to discuss on 0433 590 139.

I think atransfercar is great. Sometimes the remtal car companies can be a bIt tricky especially the smaller ones but thats nothing to do with the Transfercar system.

It would be better if there is a choice between smoking and non-smoking cars. Because for me it was very hard to drive a smoking car for four days.

Yes. I am a business user of Avis and are a preferred member. Perhaps for someone like me with a good track record with a rental company offer the insurance to 350.00 excess for free?

I was not happy about having to pay the $120 for insurance access. I had thought that the cost of paying the petrol myself was the deal when I first accepted the job of returning the vehicle to Auckland. And on top of the unexpected insurance cost at point of pickup I was then asked to Pay my own passenger ferry fare. Wow that I refused to do. !!
