If you can include the vehicle owner name in the listing it would be better. The reason is I got bad experience with some companies so want to avoid them next time when I book. The last one I did, camper co, sent me emails, following the reservation on your website, mentioning the excess amount as 3500, but your website mentioned it as 3000 only. Even after highlighting this to Ross, the owner, he still mentioned 3500 as the excess amount in the paperwork that I signed before taking the vehicle. He did not follow the website advertising and this is not OK. I will want to avoid him next time.

My first booking experience went very well. Only thing that may have helped was a phone number for transfercar, if I had a question. I found a phone number on the website for use by rental car operators, but not for customers

When rental car company offer to cover the cost of ferry for the vehicle only, it would be helpful to know that they generally require a breakdown of ferry ticket (i.e. how muh for the vehicle and how much for the passenger). If going with interislander, their booking receipt would only have a total amount of the trip unless you call to requests for a invoice that shows this detail. Not knowing this could lead to a few more conversetions on the phone and maybe a small delay on getting your ferry money from the rental company.

Im never quite sure if all the conditions on the standard rental conditions will apply when I am doing a transfer. I transferred a diesel powered vehicle and although fuel cost is sometimes covered on transfer, when I signed the rental agreement after agreeing to the transfer, I read that it included all RUCon all kilometres. Would have been good to know before agreeing.
