I have used your service before it was excellent but this time we had to pick up the vehicle from Atlas rent a car in Melbourne which was totally unprofessional on Saturday 19th Oct when I went there there was only a single person at the desk we had to wait around 15 mins to get to him seemed bit over worked and stressed, When checking the vehicle for scrapes and dents he told me that as I have made the insurance gap zeero not to waste time checking, when I was driving out I looked the Fuel guage which showed less than quarter tank, then I went back and informed them, another worker was requested to go an fill up and bring the vehicle I had to wait an addition 15-20 min , then when I drove off realized there was less air in the back right tire of the SUV- checked tyre pressure which read 14, the rest of the tyres were 44, 40, 36. Pumped air for my journey to Adelaide I had to pump air twice more on the right rear which kept going down and had to be re- pumped. Pls dont allocate Atlas vehicles from Melbourne

In your confirmation email you stated that I would have to pay a maximum of 34 dollars per day for a full insurance. I had no choice but to pay 40 dollars per day in order to cover full insurance. The Hertz employee had no options to offer me anything less than those 40 dollars besides some options that do not cover the vehicle entirely. Obviously there is a miscommunication between Hertz and transfercar that lead to my disappointment. 6 dollars per day does not seem a lots but adds up to 36 dollars over my 6 days....

I picked up from The Queenstown Airport. Before picked I called the customer service to change the pick time, he did. But it was not updated to the system. luckily I only waited 40mins. But still waste my time. The other things about your customer service at the airport, it was my first time to order a car from you, even doing a transfer car. I asked her how should I return the car, she told me call the line where I returned. I returned to Christchurch airport, I believed it should be same process like I picked but she did not say anything. That’s why 2 scores down.

It took us 3 hours of waiting to collect our camper van. The TV remote was missing. We were accussed of damaging the vehicle on return and it took some time for them to find the photo that proved it was not us. I would never use STAR RV/Apollo again. A very bad experiance.

Chch branch of Apollo was very disorganised! No apparent system of dealing with people meant that it took over two hours to collect the van. Overall we enjoyed the experience but found it relatively expensive for a few days away, with having to pay ferry expenses on top of other costs. We have since seen deals with other companies where ferry fares are included, so would probably go with one of these should we decide to do another relocation.

Reply back to e-mails. I requested a extra day with the motorhome re location as times were tight to fetch back to Auckland also getting ripped off with ferry costs and poor service with Apollo rentals. Misleading to say the least
