Try to get the companies to send available cars earlier to you - so relocators can plan ahead rather than take a chance....too hard?

The vehicle was not ready when I arrived to pick it up and needed to wait 30 mins before I could get going.... I was later arriving at the other end but that was good with Alan . So a ll good .

I have been rerecommending transfer car to my colleagues. It might be useful to advise people to make contact with the rental agency in advance, as they did not contact me, in case there are any problems.

It was really Thrifty - they stung me with an exorbitant fuel charge. The talk was as full as possible, given you have to drive from the gas station to the drop-off area. I won't be using them for regular rentals in future either.
